I have Alektorophobia!

Of course I have alektorophobia! The question is why don't you?!?!

If you don't then there's something seriously wrong with you!

I mean think about it... you're just standing there minding your own business and all of a sudden a free range dinosaur comes running full force at you. This is not just any dinosaur... it's one that the rest of your family love and think is so adorable, but all you want to do is bake it, fry it, grill it or cut it into dinosaur strips and dip in in BBQ sauce. Because if you don't, it will chase you... spit venom at you... and peck your eyeballs out!

So "Alektor" in Greek means "rooster" and "phobia" means "fear".

So Alektorphobia means fear of backyard dinosaurs that retreat to their dinosaur coups when they're done devouring you!

Signs and symptoms that you have this real condition is:

- you get an immediate feeling of intense fear, panic and anxiety whenever you see a tiny dinosaur or think about tiny dinosaurs.

- you get feelings of anxiety that get worse when you know you’re about to encounter a tiny dinosaur.

- doing everything possible to avoid seeing dinosaurs, which may include a climbing a trees and refusing to come down.

- you wake with fear and sweats after dreaming of tiny dinosaurs.

- you would rather be around a "real" dinosaur than be around one of these tiny dinosaurs.

Did you also know that this fear can not only be triggered by a traumatic experience (venom and eye pecking), but it can also be a hereditary condition?!?!

So, moral of this story is stay away from tiny dinosaurs and that also you may have alektorophobia because one of your parents is crazy too!
